April Update from Executive Director
Dear Neighbors,
America is a wonderfully rich country. We have enough food and opportunities to go around. But some miss out on the bounty. In fact, close to one in five parents don’t have enough food on hand to feed their children.
People come to Neighbors of Hope who haven’t eaten for days. Some have been out of work for years. They are afraid of what is happening to them, and they don’t know what to do. The Promise of Easter makes a difference. A promise from God goes a long way toward lifting a heavy heart. He gives hope to everyone who has failed and cannot live right.
Lives change here as men, women, and children turn to God for help.
‘Come to me, all you who are weak and burdened, and I will give you rest.’ ~ Matthew 11:28
No matter how hard the journey, God promises to be with us. He gets us through.
Thank you for caring for those who go through hard times. Your gifts to Neighbors of Hope’s Men’s Ministry and our Fishes & Loaves Food Pantry meet desperate needs for food and shelter. You also pave the way to peace with God and strength for a good life.
Please join us this Easter season to care for everyone who walks through our doors with the promise of our Risen Lord! Thank you.
In Service to Christ,
Pastor Steven Palmer
Executive Director
