November Update
Dear Neighbors,
It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is already upon us —a day to celebrate and express gratitude for the many blessings we have received. For Neighbors of Hope, it will be a truly special time to give thanks as we celebrate Thanksgiving for the first time in our new Men’s Ministry facility! Praise be to God! But we know that for those men staying with us, the holidays are just stark reminders of where they are not. Many come here who have lost everything, and some are penniless and have given up. With no family or friends to turn to, they cannot see life getting better which makes it hard to celebrate.
But even when all else fails, Jesus makes it right. Faith in God overcomes all. That’s the way it’s been since we first opened our doors nearly eighteen years ago. The hungry are fed. The homeless have a safe place to sleep. Education and spiritual growth are provided. Your support provides food, safe shelter, clothing, recovery programs, educational programs, and spiritual counseling.
No one should be left out of the Thanksgiving celebration. Your compassionate gift today will not only make room at the table for our neighbors in need so they too can enjoy a delicious turkey dinner, but will also help provide them safe shelter, care, and spiritual support.
One of the best ways you can bless people who are hurting is by helping us welcome them to a Thanksgiving celebration that surrounds them with God’s love. Please give generously to help as many people as possible. Thank you, we truly appreciate your support. God bless you.
