Phil’s Testimony

My name is Phill Witt.  In November of 2023, I needed a place to stay in an emergency situation, and by the grace of Jesus, I heard about Neighbors of Hope’s Men’s Ministry Center.  I enrolled in their Fresh Start transitional housing program.  The program required participation on my part to seek and secure an income as well as alternative housing.  Being that they understood my circumstances that arose, it helped me realize that the staff do care.  I have been enrolled in this program for about ten months, and it has been an eye-opening experience.  I’m grateful that they were able to help me get better, both mentally and spiritually.  It was also good to have warm meals and learn how the community helps the homeless in a transitional housing reality.  People have donated their time and knowledge to help me learn more about Jesus and God.  Many other sponsors and supporters, including the unseen, unheard, and not-so-verbal, in the light of what they do to help out Neighbors of Hope are truly appreciated.  I know my life has improved because of the caring staff.  I need to let you know, Jesus can help.  Thank you for being there for me.
