Neighbors of Hope Feeding Ministry

The Fishes & Loaves Food Pantry allows qualified shoppers to select their own food, much like a grocery store. Neighbors of Hope, a tax-exempt not-for-profit organization, serves Lenawee county. Food and monetary donations are accepted and appreciated.

Who Can Shop at Fishes & Loaves?

Lenawee county residents (No exceptions)
Low income individuals and families
Families experiencing a one-time food emergency

Qualifying to Shop

Visit the food pantry from 10 am – 3 pm Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED. You will need to bring the following your first time:

All applicants with valid photo IDs (over 18) or birth certificates (under 18)
Proof of residency for all applicants over the age of 18
Documentation of all income and assistance the family receives

Each New Year

You will be asked to verify your information each new year. Please be ready to bring in documentation
to verify your personal information and income status.

Anytime Things Change

Please alert our staff if any income, residence or household changes during the course of the year.

When Can I Shop?

Qualified shoppers are able to shop once every 30 days. Please schedule your shopping trip only when food is needed and use other food pantries as well to care for your family.

DAYTIME HOURS | Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 10:00am – 3:00pm

WEEKEND HOURS | Saturday: 10:00 am – Noon

When You Arrive

Photo ID is required at every visit.
We’ll ask you to sign a worksheet stating that you agree that the food you receive comes without warranty and you agree to all terms and conditions of the food pantry.
The food items are limited. Check the shelf for the amount you are allowed to take during each shopping trip.

Can’t Keep Your Appointment?

Please notify us at least 1 hour in advance.
A no call/no show to your scheduled appointment means you have forfeited your shopping for the month.
If you have 3 no call/no shows your pantry privileges will be revoked.
