Update from our Executive Director
Dear Neighbors,
I am so grateful for your support. Our ability to survive the past fifteen months of the pandemic would not have been possible without compassionate people like you. Thank you for caring.
Over the past year, we were unable to raise much-needed revenue due to our inability to hold our annual Spring and Fall fundraising events. That added up to nearly $100,000 not acquired in fundraising. But we survived! And thanks to your help, the transformative power of the Gospel continued to impact the lives of men, women & children who came to us for healing and hope.
One such woman is Kaitlyn-
“Before coming to Neighbors of Hope, I didn’t have hope. I had no idea what I was going to do next. Then my aunt told me about this AMAZING place called Neighbors of Hope. At first, I was scared because I had no clue what to expect. I felt alone and felt like I was failing my daughter.
Coming into Neighbors of Hope, my daughter and I were welcomed and loved with open arms. I was able to do driver’s training, successfully kept my job, learned life skills, and saved enough money to become independent and get my apartment. They helped me accomplish what I wanted to with love and support. I AM SO THANKFUL FOR NEIGHBORS OF HOPE.”
Now, as health restrictions begin to fade and a real possibility of some sense of normalcy is on the horizon, we are faced with the challenge of recovering. It is one thing to survive the pandemic. It is something entirely different to recover from it. Our need is real. And we can’t do it without you. Please consider donating today so people like Kaitlyn can continue to receive the vital services this ministry offers.
Thank you, and God bless you.
