Board Member Update: Pastor Nate Hamblin

What do you like about being a part of Neighbors of Hope?

I appreciate a gospel centered ministry that is wholistic in approach. From sheltering the homeless, to feeding the hungry, clothing the needy, showing the addicted the way to freedom, and proclaiming the message of hope across the air waves – it’s all motivated by Jesus and designed to be reflective of Him. And everything is done with dignity and respect for those culture often considers the least of these.

What is your day job?

I’m a co-pastor of Neighborhood Church and the Director of the Cradle to Career Network through the Lenawee Intermediate School District.

Tell us a little bit about your family:

I married way above myself. My wife Amanda and I are blessed with two young boys, Eli and Oliver.

What is your favorite Neighbors of Hope ministry?

It’s hard to pick a favorite, they are all so interconnected. But I’m especially grateful for the many relationships I’ve formed with the men in our Life Change program.
