Blessings & More Resale Store

Blessings & More is the resale ministry of Neighbors of Hope. We sell high-value donated items in a unique, upscale department store setting, and 100% of the proceeds go to funding our other ministries.

This social enterprise serves and involves the following groups of people:

  • Neighbors in need: Selling items at affordable prices instead of giving them away dignifies the people we help and affirms their own preference to pay for their goods.
  • Ministry participants: Blessings & More provides educational, vocational, and employment opportunities for those in our Fresh Start and LifeChange programs.
  • Members of the community: The general public is invited to shop for great deals that will empower Neighbors of Hope to serve. In addition, volunteers are essential to the running of our store.
  • Churches, businesses, and other organizations: Our resale store provides local organizations with opportunities to partner with us and to help build the future of our community.

Donation & Recycling Center

Select, quality donated items will continue to be accepted at our Donation and Recycling Center located at 423 W Maumee Street. While we truly appreciate what our neighbors are able to donate to our store and our organization, we will be very diligent going forward in our donation process and selective. We have chosen to do this now because we are receiving numerous donations/items that are mentioned on the list below and have minimal staff/volunteers which is taking more time for us to go through the donations. We appreciate your patience in this new process and hope you understand that it will help us to ensure the best items will be put onto the sales floor as soon as possible.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday:

10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Saturday: 10:00 – Noon

Donation Process

  1. All donations will be sorted prior to being accepted.
  2. Donations that are accepted will need to meet the criteria posted.
  3. Please understand, we run on volunteers and minimal staff, so we appreciate your patience while your items are being sorted.
  4. Please ensure you arrive to donate at the designated donation drop off*. This is to ensure there is someone to sort through your items. If it is prior to these times donations may not be accepted.
  5. If you are unable to wait while your donations are sorted, you may return at another time when you are able.

Suggested Donations

Blessings & More relies on donations from our neighbors in order to serve. If you’d like to donate, here are a few suggestions. Donations must be clean and in new or gently used condition.

  • Clothing for men, women, boys, girls, and infants 
  • Footwear: shoes and boots
  • Outerwear: coats, hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves
  • Jewelry, watches, handbags, and wallets
  • Textiles – bed sheets, pillowcases, blankets (no electric ones), scrap fabric, towels
  • Books and stuffed animals
