Board Member Profile: Sue Henry

What do you like about being a part of Neighbors of Hope?
I enjoy working with the public and I would like to have the opportunity to serve the community in a meaningful manner. I believe Neighbors of Hope, with their various programs, will provide me with the venue to achieve this goal.

What is your day job?
After working for 30 years as a legal assistant, I am now retired and enjoy time at our lake home, in my flower garden, golfing and spending time with my husband, family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Tell us a little bit about your family:
I am married to Gil Henry Sr., who like me is retired.  We share five children, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  We enjoy the company of our children and the chance to watch our grandchildren and great grandchildren in their various sporting events at four different schools.

What is your favorite Neighbors of Hope ministry?

As a new board member, I have a special interest in two programs, The Homeless Shelter for Women and Children and the Fishes and Loaves program.
